Mephitis's family was strict and agreed with Duchess Satine Kryze's vision of a pacifist Mandalore. However, Mephitis yearned for adventure and secretly acquired their own armor throughout their teenage years. They took the duchess's death and the rise of the Empire as a sign to run away and join the Rebel Alliance
